The biggest conference room holds 140 people however smaller groups are also easily accommodated. 250 can be seated for dinner and 400 accommodated for a reception. If renting the whole ZOO for a company day or summer party, it is possible to host up to 5,000 guests.
’Madkastellet’, the well renowned, event catering company awarded 'Best Catering Company 2019' by the Danish meetings industry, offers out of the ordinary, full meal services. As part of your event, you can try one of ZOO’s various teambuilding activities, have a special guided tour in the ZOO or compete by taking up the “ZOO Challenge”.You may also use the opportunity to get close to exotic animals such as snakes and spiders or just lean back and listen to an interesting lecture.
Health and Safety
The safety of our staff and guests is of utmost importance to the ZOO. Therefore efforts have been made to be certified with the HORESTA “Safe to visit” badge. This means that our employees have completed online training courses, so they are confident in restrictions and precautions based on the authorities' recommendations.
At the ZOO, we live up to the current guidelines, and in collaboration with Madkastellet, both staff and alcohol dispensers are ready to welcome meeting guests – preconceived that the attendees keep a proper distance and stick to all other guidelines. During the coffee breaks, it is, as always, possible to go out into the Garden to stretch your legs on your own or with a mediator.
Distance reminders and alcohol dispensers have been placed around the Garden to ensure that both our staff and guest feel safe when visiting and exploring the ZOO.
